1. About these terms
The CleanRoutePro P2P Help Network (“P2P”) is run by CleanRoutePro Ltd (company number 17283328), 66 Paul Street, Hackney, London, EC2A 4NA. Contact: hello@cleanroutepro.net. P2P lets subscribers ask other subscribers for help with exterior cleaning work, for example when a van, machine or tools break down, a field worker is off sick, staff are on holiday, or there is more work than they can cover. CleanRoutePro provides the platform. It is not the poster, the helper or the employer of either, and it is not a party to the agreement between them.
2. Who can use P2P
- Only subscribers with an active CleanRoutePro subscription, or their sub-users who have been given the P2P permission, can post or grab jobs. P2P is not open to Verified Exchange Users.
- Everyone must read and accept these terms before using P2P.
- Each member’s time on CleanRoutePro, subscription level, Founder Member status and feedback are shown to other members.
3. Fees (all plus local taxes)
- Posting a job: £1.
- Grabbing a job: £1. Paying this fee unlocks the full job details.
- Fees are taken by Stripe when the job is posted or grabbed and are not refundable, except where these terms say otherwise.
4. Posting a job
- Jobs are posted from the private P2P dashboard and can be for today or up to 30 days ahead.
- The post must show the type of work, the tools and equipment needed, the compliance documents needed, the general area only, the price offered and the date.
- The post must not include the customer’s name, address, contact details or exact location, or the poster’s own contact details.
- The price must be fair for the work and must include the cost of any compliance documents needed.
- CleanRoutePro checks job posts. Any post that isn’t correct will be taken down, and the poster will be given the chance to rewrite it.
5. Grabbing a job
- Grabbing a job removes it from the board, so no one else can take it.
- Once the grab fee is paid, the helper must, within 10 minutes, tick the checklist confirming they have the tools, equipment and compliance documents needed, agree the fee, and agree to appear as a guest field worker on the poster’s dashboard.
- If the checklist isn’t completed within 10 minutes, the job goes back on the board and the grab fee is not refunded.
- Only grab a job you are able to do properly, safely and on the agreed date.
6. Doing the job
- The helper works as their own independent business. They are not an employee of the poster or of CleanRoutePro.
- The helper must hold their own valid public liability insurance and the compliance documents listed in the post, and is responsible for their own health and safety and that of their team while doing the job.
- While doing the job, the helper appears as a guest field worker on the poster’s dashboard and can see only that job.
- When the job is done, the helper sends the 3 completion photos through the platform.
7. Paying the helper
- The poster pays the helper the agreed fee through the P2P dashboard once they are satisfied with the completion photos.
- The poster must pay, or raise a complaint, within 7 days of receiving the completion photos.
- Once the helper is paid and feedback has been left, the guest field worker access is removed automatically.
- The poster then invoices their own customer as normal.
8. Cancellations
- If the poster cancels a job after it has been grabbed, the helper’s grab fee is refunded and the poster’s posting fee is not.
- If the helper can no longer do a job they have grabbed, they must tell the poster through the platform as soon as possible. The grab fee is not refunded.
- Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to the member being suspended from P2P.
9. Complaints
- If the poster is not satisfied with the work, they must raise a complaint through the P2P dashboard within 7 days of receiving the completion photos, giving their reasons.
- If the helper has not been paid within 7 days of sending the completion photos, they can raise a complaint through the P2P dashboard.
- CleanRoutePro reviews the completion photos and evidence from both sides and aims to decide every complaint within 10 working days. Every decision is confirmed by a member of CleanRoutePro staff.
- By using P2P, posters and helpers agree that CleanRoutePro may decide complaints.
10. False complaints, unpaid helpers and debts
- CleanRoutePro keeps the P2P fees already paid by both the poster and the helper.
- Whoever made a false complaint, or a poster who does not pay a helper for work properly done, must pay CleanRoutePro the P2P fee paid by the other person. By using P2P you agree that this can be charged automatically to your saved payment card. A receipt is sent.
- A poster who does not pay a helper for work properly done must pay the agreed fee. By using P2P you agree that this can be charged automatically to your saved payment card and paid to the helper.
- If a charge fails, Stripe will try again over 2 weeks.
- If it is still unpaid after 2 weeks, the member will be banned from CleanRoutePro, and the debt will be chased by letter, then through a debt collection agency or the small claims court. A County Court Judgment that is not paid within one month is entered on the Register of Judgments, Orders and Fines, where credit reference agencies can see it.
11. Customer details
- The customer belongs to the poster. The helper may use the customer’s details only to do the job they grabbed.
- The helper must not keep, share or use the customer’s details for any other reason, and must not approach the poster’s customer to offer their own services.
- Keeping or using personal data without permission can be a criminal offence under the Data Protection Act 2018. CleanRoutePro will report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
12. Feedback
- Both the poster and the helper leave feedback once the job is done and paid: Positive, Neutral or Negative, with an optional comment, covering timeliness, the standard of the work and how easy it was to work together.
- Feedback must be honest and based on the actual job.
13. Keeping P2P safe
- All conversations and agreements about a job must stay on CleanRoutePro. Anyone who takes a job off the platform loses these protections.
- CleanRoutePro reduces the risk of dishonest members but cannot guarantee that every member is honest. As far as the law allows, CleanRoutePro is not responsible for the actions of posters or helpers, or for the work done. Feedback and ratings are there so members can choose who they work with.
- Read our How to stay safe on P2P page before posting or grabbing a job.
- CleanRoutePro may remove job posts and suspend or ban members who break these terms.
- Members’ verified details may be shared with the authorities where the law requires it.
14. Changes to these terms
CleanRoutePro may change these terms, fees and services, giving the notice required by law.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
