Everyone on CleanRoutePro has passed the same security checks. That helps keep dishonest people out, but no system can guarantee it. These simple steps keep you, your money and your business safe.
Everywhere on CleanRoutePro
- Keep all conversations and agreements on CleanRoutePro. If you take a deal off the platform, you lose its protections.
- Check who you’re dealing with: how long they’ve been a member, their subscription level and their feedback.
- Never share your password or sign-in codes with anyone. CleanRoutePro staff will never ask for them.
- If something doesn’t feel right, stop and report it to hello@cleanroutepro.net.
Buying a single job or round
- Always pay through Exchange, using Stripe. That’s the only way to get the Buyer Protection Period.
- Check the customer counts on the listing before you buy.
- If something isn’t right after the transfer, raise a complaint during the Buyer Protection Period.
Buying goods or vehicles from a private seller
- Don’t pay for a vehicle or large, expensive machinery until it has been collected or delivered.
- You may pay for postage or delivery upfront if the seller asks you to.
- Ask the seller for a video tour of the vehicle or large machinery. A genuine seller won’t mind.
- Do your own checks before you buy. For vans, you can check the MOT history using the free official government checker, and you can choose a vehicle history check.
- For posted items, make sure the seller adds a tracking number to your order.
Buying from a dealer or manufacturer
- Read the dealer’s or manufacturer’s own terms before you pay. Any problem is sorted out with them directly.
Selling on Exchange
- For private sales, make sure you’ve been paid before you hand anything over.
- Be wary of buyers who send screenshots of payments, offer to pay more than the price, or ask you to send money back.
- For posted items, always use tracked delivery and add the tracking number to the order.
